Online social networks provide a great way to hear about Esprit updates and stay in touch with others. We have a number of popular methods available to anyone who wishes to participate. Membership and messages are not moderated. That means anyone can join the list. Consider your privacy before sending personal information to the list or to strangers.

Esprit-Exchange Mailing List

Cornbury Society, one of our sponsoring groups, hosts a number of communications services. This is a great place to ask questions about Esprit, make travel connections, find roommates to share hotel costs, and reminisce.

To subscribe to a shared mailing list, follow the following steps:

Send an email to esprit-exchange-request@mail.cornbury.org with the word 'subscribe' in the subject line (without quotes) from your preferred email account.
When you receive the confirmation request, follow the instructions to respond to it.
You will then receive a final message confirming that you are subscribed. This message will give you all the instructions on how to send messages to the group, how to unsubscribe, and how to view an archive of past messages. Save this message as it includes important information on how to maintain your subscription and a password that you will need to modify your subscription settings.
Be aware of the automatic Reply-To address that is included in each mailing list message.

If you hit your mail tool's "reply" button, your reply will be broadcast to the entire list. You should double check and manually enter your desired recipient's name if you want your reply to be more private.

Rideshare and Roomshare Bulletin Board

To access the bulletin board (mainly used for posting requests for roommates and people to share rides with), follow the following steps:

Go to http://www.cornbury.org/esprit/sharing and register. (The requirement for registering helps keep spammers off the board.)
Check your email for the confirmation email and click the link therein to activate your account.
Go to the Room Share or Ride Share sections and see if there's a posting already that you can help out with; if there is, you can reply to it. if not, then Post New Topic to put up your offer or request.
